SSC MTS Exam Previous Year Papers

Exam for SSC Multitasking Staff is conducted by SSC. The exam is conducted for selecting an appropriate candidate for the Non-ministerial posts of General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted in various ministries/ offices/ departments of central government. Posts are for different states and union territories. Candidates must go through SSC MTS Exam Previous Year Papers and practice as much as can.

Notification for SSC MTS 2018 is announced on 4th August 2018. Starting date for filling application is 5th August 2018. The last date for filling application is 31st August 2018. No official exam date is announced yet. Phase I of the exam will be conducted in December 2018 or January 2019.

SSC MTS Exam Eligibility Criteria

  1. Candidates between the age limit of 18 to 25 years as in 01/08/2018 are eligible to apply for the exam.
  2. Candidate must have passed 10th exam or equivalent from a board recognized by the Indian government.
  3. Candidate must be an Indian Citizen. Nepal and Bhutan citizen are also eligible.
  4. Candidates who are Tibetan refugee, came to India before 1st January 1962 to settle here are eligible to apply

SSC MTS Exam Pattern

The SSC MTS Exam pattern has gone through a change from last year i.e. 2017. Now the mode of SSC MTS exam conduction will be online with a reduction in a number of questions & time duration of paper. SSC MTS Exam will be held in different centers across the country. Candidates must have detail information about latest exam pattern, exam syllabus and SSC MTS Previous Year Papers to prepare for the exam properly. 

  1. There are 2 stages for SSC Multi Tasking Staff paper:
    • Paper 1 –Written exam (Objective type)
    • Paper 2 – Descriptive exam

  1. The Total Marks is 100 for written examination (paper 1), For each incorrect response, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
  2. Time duration:-120 min.
  3. Paper Language:- English & Hindi
  4. Paper 2 will be conducted for candidates who will qualify the paper 1 for judging the elementary skills.
