The RBI Grade B Phase I was conducted on 16th August 2018. The candidates who clear  RBI Grade B Phase I will be eligible to sit in RBI Grade B Phase II exam. 7th September 2018 is the declared date for RBI Grade B Phase II Exam. There are 161 vacancies in 2018, as per the announcement made by RBI. RBI Grade B  Phase I Exam has already been conducted. Candidates have to clear 3 stages to clear the exam. RBI Grade B Phase II Exam Pattern:

Phase II of RBI Grade B exam is a combination of objective and descriptive questions. There are 3 major topics to focus on while preparing for RBI Phase II exam.  They are Economic and Social issues, Management and Finance.

There is one paper of English in RBI Grade-B Phase II exam. This section is to test candidates writing skills.

Phase-I: Objective Type – 2 hours – 200 marks

Phase-II: Three Papers – 300 marks

(a) Paper-I – online- English-( writing skills)- 1½ hours – 100 marks

(b) Paper-II – Economic and Social Issues – 1½ hours – 100 marks

(c) Paper-III – Optional Paper (Finance & Management/ Economics/ Statistics) –
1½ hours – 100 marks

Interview: 50 marks
The interview will continue in its existing format. 

Preparation Tips for RBI Grade B Phase II Exam

  1. Make a study plan and stick to it.
  2. Solve RBI Grade B Phase II Previous Year Papers of the exam this will help you to identify your weak verticals.
  3. Everday give a minimum of one hour to prepare for those weak verticals
  4. Study topic wise
  5. Start the new topic only when you have finished one topic.
  6. Make short notes while going through the topics which will help you in an easy revision.
  7. Remember, there are sectional cut-offs so all the sections are equally important
  8. Learn time management
  9. Practice meditation to keep the stress away.
  10. If you are not able to complete any topic do not panic, focus on what you have prepared well.
  11. Keep up your confidence level
