MAT is a national-level management entrance examination held for admissions to MBA/PGDM programs. More than 600 B-Schools accept MAT exam scores. Below are compiled MAT Previous Year Papers to help you in preparing the exam.

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a national-level management entrance examination held for admissions to MBA/PGDM programs. The test scores are used for admission to various MBA, PGDM and allied management programmes. The exam is conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA). More than 600 B-Schools accept MAT exam scores.

It is conducted 4 times a year (February, May, September, and December) in both online and offline modes.

MAT Previous Year Papers

MAT is basically a speed-based test. The difficulty level of the exam ranges from easy to moderate. The best way to give a final shot to your preparation is to solve previous year papers. Solving MAT previous year papers will give you a fair idea of the types of questions, the level of difficulty of the paper and will help you in time management during the actual exam.

MAT Exam Pattern 2018

MAT is conducted in both offline and online modes, and a candidate can select any of the modes while filling the application form. MAT exam has 200 objective type questions divided into five sections. The duration of the MAT exam is Two hours and 30 minutes (2:30 hrs.).

NOTE:

  • Candidate can choose any ONE mode i.e. Paper Based Test (PBT) or Computer Based Test (CBT) or BOTH.
  • Candidates opting for both PBT and CBT have the benefit of selecting additional 2 Management Institutions for sending their scores; in addition to the existing option of selecting 5 Management Institutions i.e. they can select 7 Management Institutions in total.
