IBSAT is a test conducted by ICFAI for admission in MBA and Ph.D. programs. The online exam is conducted in the month of December. Shortlisted candidates have to clear Group Discussion and Personal Interview for admission.
IBSAT Previous Year Question Papers
IBSAT (ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test) is a management aptitude test conducted by the ICFAI University. The exam is for getting admission in ICFAI’s MBA and Ph.D. programs. ICFAI has 9 campuses across India. Located at:
IBSAT exam is conducted on multiple days in the month of December. The exam is conducted in online mode. Shortlisted candidates from exam have to appear for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).
IBSAT Exam Pattern
ICFAI conduct IBSAT online in 20 cities across India. Candidates can appear for the exam after graduation. For getting comfortable with the exam pattern aspirants must refer previous year exam papers. Practice as much as on sample papers. Candidate must keep himself updated with current affairs. Practice for the personal interview. There are multiple choice questions. There is no sectional cut off.

IBSAT Section Wise Syllabus
Section-1: Verbal Ability
Verbal Ability has been given the maximum weight of 50 marks. Questions will be based on the following topics:
- Word Relation
- Error Spotting
- Phrase Replacement/ one-word substitute
- Fill in the blanks
- Jumbled Sentences
Section-2: Reading Comprehension
This section has 30 questions in total. there are 4 RC passages. 3 passages have 8 questions each. One passage has 6 questions. Answers to most of the questions are given in paragraphs only. For a few questions, the candidate has to identify linkage and answer accordingly.

Section-3: Quantitative Ability
Quantitative Ability has mathematical questions. there are 30 questions in this section. Questions are based on following topics:

- Speed, Time and Distance
- Profit, loss & Discount
- Permutation & Probability
- Work and Time
- Geometry and Mensuration
- Simple interest & partnership
- Time and Work
Section-4: Data Sufficiency and Data Interpretation
There are 30 questions in this section. 15 are based on Data Interpretation. Rest 15 on data sufficiency. Major topics are:
- Data Sufficiency
- Data Interpretation (Pie chart )
- Data Interpretation (Line and Table)
- Data Interpretation (Line, bar, graph)
- Practice as much as possible.
- Update yourself with current affairs.
- Give mock interviews.
- Enhance vocabulary
- Speak in the English language fluently.
- Keep a positive attitude.
