IBPS Rajbhasha Adhikari Previous Year Question Papers

A Rajbhasha Adhikari also known as an Official Language Officer is the one responsible for promoting communication in bank in national language i.e. Hindi. He/She is the one who is responsible to circulate notices, circular or any type of official document in the Hindi Language. It is important that the Rajbhasha Adhikari is well-versed in Hindi as well as Sanskrit. It is Rajbhasha Adhikari’s responsibility to make sure that Hindi and Sanskrit are used in the bank on daily basis.

Responsibility of Rajbhasha Adhikari

Apart from promoting national language in bank operations, the following are responsibilities of Rajbhasha Adhikari:

  • To translate bank documents in Hindi and Sanskrit and circulate it within the bank and it branches.
  • To arrange training programmes and workshops for bank officials to use Hindi as much as possible in daily operations.

Eligibility Criteria for Rajbhasha Adhikari 

  • Candidate must have Knowledge of Hindi as well as the English Language.
  • It is mandatory to have PG Degree in Hindi or in the Sanskrit language
  • Candidate must have English as the language in graduation.
  • Age limit is 20-30 years

Syllabus for the Objective Test of IBPS Rajbhasha Adhikari Exam:

The test is conducted to test candidate’s command on the Hindi language. Test paper is in the Hindi Language:
  1. 2 Passage
  2. Fill in the blanks: Related with Hindi Grammer.
  3. Translation of words or sentences-  English to Hindi and Hindi to English
  4. Close Test
  5. Replace one word in a Hindi sentence with another appropriate Hindi word
  6. Synonyms and Antonyms
  7. Hindi Grammer

Syllabus for the Descriptive Test of IBPS Rajbhasha Adhikari Exam:

The descriptive test can be taken online as well as offline by IBPS. There will be 2 questions. Candidates have to convert English passages to Hindi and Hindi Passage to English.

IBPS Rajbhasha Adhikari Preparation Tips

  1. Make a study plan and stick to it.
  2. Solve previous year question paper of the exam this will help you to identify your weak verticals.
  3. Everday give a minimum of one hour to prepare for those weak verticals
  4. Study topic wise
  5. Start the new topic only when you have finished one topic.
