Common Admission Test or CAT is a national-level management exam, conducted by one of the IIM’s on a rotational basis. It is a gateway to all 20 IIMs and other top B-schools in India. We have compiled CAT Previous Year Question Papers to help you in preparing better for the exam.
CAT 2018 will be held on the fourth Sunday of November i.e. November 25, 2018. Close to 2.5 lakh MBA aspirants are preparing for toughest exams to get admission to the prestigious Indian Institute of Management (IIMs). Taking the last year’s schedule into consideration, the registration process can begin in the second week of August 2018. The CAT 2018 registration process will be like other CAT registrations till date. Candidates will be asked to fill up the online application form with personal details, career information and complete the registration process by depositing the required application fees.

CAT Eligibility Criteria 2018
As per the eligibility criteria of CAT 2018, candidates should fulfil the following parameters:
- Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognised University or Institute
- General and OBC-NC category candidates should obtain at least 50 per cent marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA. For reserved category candidates, the minimum percentage to secure is 45
- The duration of the graduation programme should be minimum 3 years
- Final year graduation students are also eligible to apply for CAT 2018 provided they complete their programme within the stipulated schedule
- Age Limit – There is no age limit for applying or appearing in CAT 2018
CAT Exam Pattern 2018
CAT 2018 will be a computer-based test of 3 hours duration. The exam will have 100 objective type multiple choice and non-multiple choice type questions. The areas or sections from which the questions are asked include Quantitative Ability (QA), Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC) and Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DI & LR). Marking Scheme – Each question carries 3 marks. For each wrong answer, there is negative marking of one mark. There is no negative marking scheme for non-MCQs or TITA (Type In The Answer) questions.
